About The Position

Razor is looking for a Jr Cloud Engineer/AWS Administrator to support the development, integration, deployment, and sustainment of cloud-native services within mission-critical U.S. Government environments. This role focuses on hybrid cloud technologies, containerization, automation, monitoring, and application support across Linux-based cloud environments.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of recent programming experience with Java, Python, C++, Go, or equivalent platform integration/automation experience
  • Experience developing applications in Linux environments
  • 3+ years of experience with Docker or similar containerization technologies
  • 2+ years of experience deploying applications with Kubernetes or similar orchestration technologies
  • Experience supporting cloud-native or hybrid cloud environments
  • Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
  • Active Top Secret/SCI (TS/SCI) clearance required for classified assignments.
  • A full-scope polygraph may be required depending on the specific assignment and access requirements.

Nice To Haves

  • Relevant technical education or equivalent professional experience.
  • Kubernetes certifications such as Certified Kubernetes Application Developer (CKAD) or Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) are preferred.
  • AWS cloud administration experience
  • CKAD or CKA certification
  • Open-source software experience
  • Experience with CI/CD and Infrastructure as Code
  • Experience supporting DoD or Intelligence Community environments

Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, integrate, and test cloud-native features and capabilities
  • Support hybrid cloud environments using containerization, orchestration, and serverless technologies
  • Develop and support web-based interfaces and REST or gRPC APIs
  • Work with Kafka, NATS, RabbitMQ, or similar messaging technologies
  • Support automation using Ansible, Bash, Go, and related tools
  • Support monitoring and logging technologies including Prometheus, Grafana, Elasticsearch, and Kibana
  • Manage cloud package repositories including Yum and Helm
  • Work across Kubernetes, AWS, Azure, and private cloud environments
  • Utilize Git and Agile tools such as Jira within Scrum or Kanban teams
  • Troubleshoot and resolve cloud application and infrastructure issues
