About The Position

ICF is looking for an enthusiastic Jr. Business Analyst to join our team. If you are interested in applying your expertise in a consulting environment, then this may be the role for you. Job Location: This position requires that the job be performed in the United States. If you accept this position, you should note that ICF does monitor employee work locations and blocks access from foreign locations/foreign IP addresses, and also prohibits personal VPN connections. You may be asked to travel once a quarter to an office. Our core work hours are 10am - 4pm Eastern Time with the option to start earlier or work later depending on your time zone.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution
  • 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in a fast-paced client-facing solution delivery environment.
  • 3+ years of recent experience working in an Agile development environment as a business analyst (i.e., Scrum, Kanban, etc.)
  • 3+ years of experience facilitating requirements gathering, Joint Application Design (JAD) sessions, capturing client requirements and feedback.
  • 3+ years experience working with tools like JIRA
  • Candidate must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust
  • Candidate must reside in the U.S., be authorized to work in the U.S., and all work must be performed in the U.S.

  • Prior experience in consulting or healthcare is an advantage but not essential.

Responsibilities

  • Work with stakeholders, plan, manage, document and analyze functional and testing requirements, identify gaps, and identify alternative approaches to meet requirements.
  • Assist in analyzing and documenting clients’ business requirements and processes; communicates these requirements to technical and non-technical personnel by constructing basic conceptual data and process models
  • Assist with the management of requirements and collaboration sessions using tools like JIRA and Confluence
  • Define detailed stories and epics, with applicable acceptance criteria in collaboration with product owners and ICF’s technology team and facilitate meetings with client and internal technical and operational teams.
  • Communicate effectively with a wide variety of technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Elicit requirements using requirements sessions, document analysis, surveys, interviews, business process descriptions, use cases, business analysis etc.
  • Lead and conduct User-Acceptance tests; demo work in both small and large virtual settings with clients and end users to obtain feedback on enhancing dashboards to meet business requirements.
