SANCORP is seeking a Jr. Program Analyst to support the Office of the Assistant Secretary of Defense for Science and Technology (OASD(S&T)). This role involves administrative tracking of requirements, developing reports, collecting and preparing technical information for senior leaders, and providing technical consulting on complex Science and Technology programs. The analyst will also assist in developing and modifying procedures, supporting meetings, and maintaining configuration and quality control of assignments. Additionally, the position requires developing briefs and talking points, reviewing documentation, conceiving solutions for short-notice tasks, and developing memos and letters. Support is also required for the SMART Defense Education Program, including data analysis and visualization, and executing program initiatives. The role includes coordinating and representing SMART at various events and cooperating with external entities. A significant part of the role involves assisting in the default case process for the SMART program, including recommendations, reviews, waiver requests, and communication with scholars. The analyst must stay current on relevant statutes, regulations, and policies, and be abreast of database concepts and data visualization tools.
