About The Position

A detail-oriented and reliable Bookkeeper is needed to support the day-to-day financial operations by maintaining accurate and up-to-date records across transactions, invoices, and bank accounts. This role focuses on ensuring financial data is properly categorized, reconciled, and organized, while supporting the Senior Bookkeeper with clean and reliable information for reporting. The Bookkeeper will play an important role in keeping financial records consistent and audit-ready by following structured processes and ensuring that all entries are accurate and complete. This position is best suited for someone who is highly organized, process-driven, and comfortable working with recurring bookkeeping tasks independently.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in bookkeeping or a similar financial support role
  • Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy
  • Organized and consistent in handling financial data and records
  • Comfortable working with accounting systems and digital financial tools
  • Ability to follow structured processes and maintain data integrity
  • Reliable, dependable, and able to work independently with minimal supervision

Responsibilities

  • Accurately categorize financial transactions within the accounting system
  • Ensure bank feeds are consistently updated and functioning properly
  • Review incoming transactions and maintain clean, organized records
  • Identify any missing or unclear entries and ensure they are properly recorded
  • Ensure all invoices and bills are entered, updated, and accurately reflected in the system
  • Maintain up-to-date records of payables and related financial data
  • Verify that entries are complete and aligned with supporting documentation
  • Keep financial records organized and easy to reference
  • Perform regular bank account reconciliations to ensure records match bank statements
  • Review discrepancies and flag any inconsistencies for resolution
  • Maintain accuracy across all reconciled accounts
  • Ensure reconciliations are completed in a timely and consistent manner
  • Work closely with the Senior Bookkeeper to support financial reporting processes
  • Respond to and assist with financial statement-related questions as needed
  • Provide accurate and organized data to support reporting and review
  • Escalate any issues, discrepancies, or unclear entries for clarification
