About The Position
We are TekPro Support Services, LLC (TSS) a professional solutions contracting and consulting firm supporting several military installations and federal agencies across the nation. TSS is seeking a Jr. Accountant to support the COPS Office’s Management Services Directorate in working to support financial grant management.
Requirements
- a minimum of 3 years' experience
- High School Diploma required
Nice To Haves
- Associates or Bachelors degree preferred
Responsibilities
- Financial Tracking of Commitments, Obligations, Unobligated Balances, Accruals
- Reconciling planned award amounts and actual award amount for each COPS Award Program
- Assist in the deobligation and sometimes reobligation of financial instruments including grant awards
- Support for various monthly and quarterly reporting
- Assist in financial reconciliation activities
