This position is responsible for performing duties required in the operation, maintenance, construction and repair of transmission and distribution systems. The role involves constructing and maintaining overhead and underground electric lines and equipment, inspecting power lines and substation equipment, investigating trouble on lines, and performing rubber glove work on energized lines. Additionally, the position requires participation in training, assisting in the training of others, and adhering to safety regulations. Responsibilities also extend to managing construction projects, participating in emergency restoration, updating mapping systems, handling customer complaints, and providing guidance to employees. The Journeyworker will also be responsible for leading and monitoring job briefings, approving invoices and work orders, and maintaining a safe work environment. This role requires availability for call-out duty and various shifts.
