About The Position

United Electric Cooperative, Inc. in Maryville, MO is looking to hire a full-time Lineman Journeyman. This position is a Union position and earns a competitive wage of $48.33/hour. The Journeyman Lineman is responsible for providing effective and efficient operations, maintenance, and construction activities on energized and de-energized lines with or without supervision.

Requirements

4 years of experience in electric line work, two of which involved comparable climbing and hot line work
High school diploma or equivalent
Have or acquire a thorough knowledge of first aid and CPR
Maintain a Commercial Driver's License (Class A CDL)
Must reside within 25 road miles of the Cooperative location where reporting to work
Mandatory "Crew on Watch" duty with mandatory overtime is required
Must be able to work inside and outside in all kinds of weather
Must be able to lift 75 - 100 lbs and complete strenuous tasks
