About The Position
Finning is growing fast – and so are the opportunities! We are currently hiring a Journeyperson Heavy Duty Mechanic for our Regina Field team. This is a position is based out of our Regina on a Monday-Friday (5x2) shift. Travel around the Regina area, with the potential to be at a remote site. Requirements
- Interprovincial Journeyperson Heavy Equipment Certification
- Clean Drivers’ Abstract (5 yr)
- Dedication to safety
- Strong experience in Electrical, Hydraulic and Emissions systems
- Transmission or Hydraulic testing experience
- Strong interpersonal and communications skills, both written and verbal
Nice To Haves
- Understanding of the Caterpillar product line will be considered an asset
- Engine and/or component rebuilding experience would be considered an asset
- Power generation experience would be considered an asset
Responsibilities
- Trouble shooting equipment and perform equipment repairs (possibility of remote locations)
- Interface with customers, products and sales support
- Working with the Supervisor on various tasks
- Providing support with reference to on-site safety requirements
- Maintain Finning Customer Service Commitment
- Various related duties as required
