About The Position

Provide electrical support services to plant operations, troubleshoot equipment, install new services, maintain safety of employees and facilities, communicate with vendors, keep accurate records, and participate in emergency callouts. This role involves performing all duties safely, displaying safety leadership, cultivating a zero incident safety culture, and complying with all government and corporate safety requirements. The position requires maintaining all electrical equipment, PLC, power distribution, and related services within areas of expertise, and performing predictive and preventive maintenance checks. Responsibilities also include recording labor and materials used on work orders, contacting vendors, ordering supplies, keeping accurate records, and maintaining a safe and tidy working area. The role involves collaboration with various internal teams, external service providers, and performing other duties as required.

Requirements

Graduate of a recognized electrical program with interprovincial journeyperson electrician ticket
Excellent verbal, written and listening communication skills and team orientation
Ability to interact with all levels of staff and management
Ability to read electrical blueprints and update them as necessary
Knowledge of application software including Word, Excel and Power Point
Knowledge of Allen Bradley PLC software
Ability to work extended hours, weekends and holidays as required

Responsible for doing predictive and preventive maintenance checks as required by maintenance program
Responsible for recording labour and materials used on complete work orders, contacting vendors, ordering supplies, and keeping accurate records
Responsible for maintaining the working area in a safe, tidy condition
Work with peers at other Bunge sites, safety resources, technical staff, and other support personnel
Interact with service providers such as vendors, government regulators and inspectors, contractors, and consultants
Perform other duties as required
