About The Position
The Journeyman will perform installation and maintenance of low-sloped roof systems and membranes. Candidate will be proficient in reading and following manufacturer installation and warranty conditional specs, as well as operating within company outlined safety standards. Journeymen will creat client reports via tablet. Supports the Foreman with communication, training, and directing crew members as needed.
Requirements
- Ability to communicate professionally and effectively
- Ability to operate handheld technology such as tablets and/or smartphones
Nice To Haves
- 3+ years’ experience in installing and maintaining low-sloped roof systems (TPO, PVC, BUR, modified bitumen, EPDM)
- Prior roofing or related trade experience
- Proficiency in operating tools and equipment including Leister welder, hot air gun, and propane torch
Responsibilities
