About The Position
The Journeyman Millwright is responsible for the effective functioning of the mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic equipment for the Edmonton North Plant.
Requirements
- Must have a valid Provincial Millwright Journeyman Certificate, or a recognized interprovincial equivalent, coupled with a minimum of two years’ experience performing repairs in a manufacturing environment.
- Must have experience with mechanical systems, welding, fabrication and machining experience, and an ability to use power and manual tools.
- Ability to communicate in English both verbally and in writing.
Responsibilities
- Accountable for the effective functioning of mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems in the plant, and for the effective installation, welding, and fabrication of new equipment.
- Accountable for the general maintenance of the ammonia refrigeration system in the plant.
- Accountable to adhere to and utilize Company policies and procedures and HACCP regulations.
- Accountable to ensure a safe work environment for coworkers, customers and visitors
- Responsible for other duties as required.
