Provides a safe and aesthetically pleasing environment through maintenance and renovation of different spaces throughout the healthcare system under the direction of a supervisor. Independently performs preventive maintenance, equipment repairs, and services on various types of general building features (such as locksmithing, bed repair, metal fabrication and repair, and other trades as appropriate.) As well as with facilities construction and refresh efforts, including carpentry, flooring installation, painting, drywall repair, etc. Most work is performed as a team, but there may be independent work as well. Participates in the overall building management program to provide high-quality, cost-effective service with a high emphasis on customer satisfaction and quality. The average work week will consist of Monday – Friday, however qualified candidates will have to be open to scheduled nights and weekend work.
