About The Position

Napleton's Valley Hyundai is hiring Journeyman Technicians to work in a busy shop servicing more than 100 cars per day. The Journeyman Technician performs assigned vehicle repairs and maintenance according to dealer and factory standards, building customer loyalty through effective diagnosis and repair. Flexible work shifts and weekend options are available. Requirements

At least 3 years of experience as a Journeyman Technician.
Self-starter who is process-driven.
Willingness to undergo a background check in accordance with local law and regulations.
Must be at least 18 years old to comply with the company driving policy.

Responsibilities

Diagnose and repair vehicles to specifications, including brake and hydraulic, exhaust, fuel ignition and electrical, suspension and alignment, air conditioning, and computer systems.
Explain technical diagnoses and needed repairs to non-mechanical individuals, including employees and customers, as required.
Keep technical skills and techniques current through formal training sessions.
Keep store management informed of mechanical repair problems as they occur.
Maintain an organized and neat service bay.
