About The Position
Larson Hyundai is seeking a skilled Journeyman Technician who can diagnose efficiently, flag consistent hours, and perform at a high level in a fast-paced flat-rate environment. This role is designed for experienced technicians who want steady workflow, strong shop support, and the ability to maximize production without fighting for work.
Requirements
- Journeyman or high-level diagnostic technician experience required
- Strong electrical and drivability diagnostic ability
- Ability to consistently produce in a flat-rate environment
- Professional, self-motivated, and team-oriented work style
- ASE certifications are preferred.
- Strong automotive background
- 1 year of automotive experience
- Ability to communicate effectively with others.
- Basic computer skills.
- Basic mathematical aptitude
- Ability to understand and apply common sense.
- Clean driving record
- Willing to submit to a drug screen.
Nice To Haves
- ASE certifications preferred (Master or in progress)
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair advanced mechanical and electrical issues
- Handle drivability, engine, HVAC, transmission, and hybrid system repairs
- Complete warranty and customer-pay work to factory standards
- Maintain strong flagged-hour productivity
- Communicate effectively with advisors regarding repair recommendations and timelines
- Support efficient shop workflow and productivity
