About The Position

Sabre Systems is seeking a Journeyman Systems Security Engineer/Operations Research Analyst to support the Naval Aviation Training Systems and Ranges Program Office (PMA-205) at Patuxent River Naval Air Station in Lexington Park, MD. PMA-205 is responsible for the full lifecycle acquisition of naval aviation platform and general training systems, training range instrumentation systems, and distributed mission training centers. The role will specifically involve supporting the Tactical Combat Training System Increment II (TCTS II), a next-generation secure, Live-Virtual-Constructive (LVC) enabling air combat training system designed to provide realistic threat scenarios and secure cross-service training.

Requirements

  • Management, Technical or Scientific BS or BA degree from an accredited college or university.
  • At least five (5) years of recent and relevant experience in an engineering or operations analysis position.
  • Demonstrated experience in area of engineering expertise is required.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Clear communications and teamwork skills working in a collaborative environment.
  • Active Top Secret/SCI Security Clearance required.
  • This position will require SCI/SAP access.
  • Must be a US Citizen.

Responsibilities

  • Review and communicate system security architecture and requirements for TCTSII and future Live-Virtual-Constructive (LVC) air combat training programs.
  • Integrate systems security requirements into systems architectures and development, to include Cross-Domain Solution (CDS), cryptographic and anti-tamper requirements.
  • Develop and assist with the processes for approval of security systems by National Security Agency (NSA) and Navy entities.
  • Provides high-level subject matter expertise, analysis, and technical guidance to support project execution.
  • Plan programs to meet current and future systems security requirements.
  • Execute risk management, identify vulnerabilities, assess risk and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Provides advanced technical knowledge and analysis of highly specialized applications and operational environments, high-level functional systems analysis, design, integration, documentation, training, and implementation advice on exceptionally complex problems.
  • Administers complex areas of the network, security analysis, and planning.
