About The Position
B&D is seeking 2 Journeymen Sheet Metal Workers for an active open call through the union hall. This position is for individuals dedicated to quality work and building customer relationships. The role involves planning, measuring, fabricating, and installing ductwork, hangers, HVAC equipment, and accessories.
Requirements
- Must be willing to join Local Union 49 – SMART – Sheet Metal and Railroad Technicians
- Active Journeyman Sheet Metal (JSM) License required (must be in good standing)
Responsibilities
- Plan reading and Specification experience
- Measuring and drawing duct fittings for fabrication
- Installing duct, hangers, HVAC equipment, and associated accessories
- Fabrication of duct work and accessories
