About The Position
Skillforce is searching for Commercial Sheet Metal Journeymen for long-term projects in the Portland ME area. This role is ideal for skilled travelers looking for steady work, great pay, and solid hours. The position offers a minimum of 50 hours per week.
Requirements
- Journeyman-level commercial sheet metal experience
- Ability to pass a drug screen (if required)
- Reliable transportation and tools
- Strong work ethic and ability to work independently
Nice To Haves
- OSHA 10 preferred
Responsibilities
- Installing commercial ductwork (rectangular & spiral)
- Hanging duct, setting VAVs, RTUs, and accessories
- Reading and working from blueprints and specs
- Following OSHA safety standards
