About The Position
Skillforce is currently hiring Journeyman Commercial Sheet Metal Mechanics in St. Petersburg, FL for upcoming commercial projects. Pay is up to $30 per hour based on experience and skillset. Requirements
- Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings, and layout plans
- 6 years exp. preferred
- Experience in installing commercial ductwork, including spiral/ round, and rectangular systems, along with associated hangers and supports
- Hands- on experience installing and working with VAVS
- Physically capable of lifting 50+ lbs. and performing required jobsite tasks
- Reliable transportation and strong attendance record
- Must provide own tools and PPE
Responsibilities
- Install commercial ductwork, including spiral/ round, and rectangular systems, along with associated hangers and supports
- Experience installing and working with VAVS
- Accurately measure, cut, and assemble Sheet Metal materials
- Maintain job site safety and follow OSHA standards
