We are seeking an enthusiastic, growth minded individual to be our Journeyman Roofer in the Service Department of our Kirkland Office. As a Roofer at Jimmy's you will be responsible for assisting the team throughout the job process including starting the project or finishing the project within the Foreman's guidelines. You are a growing and developing employee that will be given specific duties to complete.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma, AA Degree or equivalent knowledge and experience
  • Previous roofing experience/repair strongly preferred but not required
  • Physical ability to lift and maneuver heavy weighted objects
  • Current Driver’s License with no restrictions
  • Valid email address and working cell phone
  • Successfully pass drug screen and background check

Responsibilities

  • Ensure the safety of your crew as well as the safety of the customer, their employees, and clients
  • Maintain the protection of the customer's building and property
  • Make sure it's "Always watertight at night"
  • Ensure quality of product and application
  • Maintain and ensure efficiency of all equipment used at jobsite
  • Secure company materials and assets (Equipment, Tools, Trucks, etc.) at jobsite
  • Ensure finished product has a safe and high level of quality upon completion
  • Participate in site safety through OSHA and L&I compliance
  • Proper installation of all new roofing systems exactly as specified
  • Maintain good customer relations
  • Ability to participate in the production and quality of workmanship
  • Ability to take direction and delegation from team leader
  • Maintain company issued equipment in good operational order
