About The Position

Installs and maintains renewable energy systems, including photovoltaic arrays, wind turbines, and battery storage. The role performs conduit, wiring, and terminations for renewable power distribution; reads and interprets drawings, diagrams, and manufacturer specifications; and tests systems for performance and safety compliance. The Journeyman coordinates with crew members and supervisors to maintain workflow and schedule, identifies and resolves routine system or installation issues in the field, and documents work performed for quality tracking and reporting. Travel is required.

Requirements

• High school diploma/GED or equivalent experience.
• At least 7 years of industrial and commercial experience.
• At least 5 years of solar and photovoltaic installation experience; required.
• Previous experience in solar fields, rooftops with PV installations, and related fields.
• Knowledge of electrical systems, grid-tied PV systems, and ancillary electrical components.
• Own tools.
• Complete the OSHA 10 program within 6 months of hire.

Nice To Haves

• OSHA 10-Hour Construction certification.
• BICSI Technician Certification or CompTIA Network+ Certification.
