About The Position

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Journeyman Plumber to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing plumbing issues, installing and maintaining plumbing systems, and ensuring all work is performed safely and to code. This role requires a strong understanding of plumbing principles, excellent diagnostic skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. You will be interacting directly with customers, providing estimates, and maintaining a professional work environment.

Requirements

Valid Journeyman Plumber’s License.
Multi-family plumbing experience required.
Strong understanding of water distribution and disposal systems in residential, commercial, and industrial buildings.
Ability to safely and effectively use plumbing tools and equipment, including pipe wrenches, pipe cutters, and related tools.
Must provide and maintain your own hand tools.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Excellent critical-thinking and diagnostic skills.
Friendly, professional, and patient demeanor.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Valid driver’s license.
Clean driving record.

Responsibilities

Diagnose plumbing issues independently and perform repairs efficiently.
Inspect and test plumbing systems to ensure safety, functionality, and code compliance.
Read blueprints and drawings to understand and plan the layout of plumbing, waste disposal, and water supply systems.
Cut, assemble, and install plumbing lines while working safely around existing infrastructure, including electrical wiring.
Install, maintain, and repair water supply systems.
Locate and repair issues with water supply lines, including leaks.
Repair or replace broken drainage lines, clogged drains, and related plumbing issues.
Repair or replace domestic fixtures and appliances, including faucets and water heaters.
Install and maintain waste disposal and sanitary systems to ensure proper functionality.
Respond to customer inquiries and service dispatches in a timely and professional manner.
Prepare quotes and present estimates directly to customers.
Maintain a safe, clean, and professional work environment.
