The Facility Services team ensures Walmart locations operate safely and efficiently through preventive maintenance, inspections, and repairs. Utilizing multiple craft skills, including plumbing, the team maintains facility functionality and appearance. They collaborate with management and contractors to uphold quality and safety standards while addressing repair needs promptly. Requirements

  • Proven experience in plumbing and facility maintenance, including preventive maintenance and repair of equipment and fixtures.
  • Ability to interpret blueprints, repair manuals, and parts catalogs to diagnose and resolve issues effectively.
  • Skilled in operating hand and power tools, hoists, and material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Knowledge of OSHA and EPA regulations to ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards.
  • Strong documentation skills for maintenance activities, work orders, and expense tracking.
  • Capability to respond promptly to emergency calls and participate in on-call rotations.
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with managers, contractors, and coworkers.
  • Valid state-issued driver’s license and ability to pass a motor vehicle report.
  • 2 years’ experience in the plumbing trade.
  • Licensed Journeyman Plumber or equivalent in good standing in the state of work.
  • License in related trade in city and/or state of work.

Nice To Haves

  • Completion of a 2-year Vocational or Technical trade program
  • Experience using intermediate level functionality of word processing, spreadsheet, email, and presentation software (for example, Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).

  • Comply with OSHA, EPA, and company safety regulations while maintaining a safe work environment.
