Requirements

  • Massachusetts Journeyman Plumber License required
  • 5+ years of plumbing experience required
  • 2+ years of experience independently running service calls
  • Experience performing gas piping and venting for heating equipment required
  • Strong knowledge of advanced plumbing systems, gas, boilers, and troubleshooting
  • Ability to understand plumbing layouts, system design, and how components connect and operate
  • Comfortable using technology, including tablets and digital service tools
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to pass a criminal background check, motor vehicle record check, and pre-employment drug screen

Nice To Haves

  • OSHA 10 Certification preferred

Responsibilities

  • Install, repair, and maintain residential plumbing systems according to company standards and local plumbing codes
  • Perform gas piping and venting for heating equipment on plumbing projects
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot plumbing systems, including gas, boilers, and related components
  • Serve as a trusted representative of Cranney Home Services during customer interactions
  • Provide clear explanations and recommendations to homeowners while delivering exceptional service
  • Install and repair pipes, fittings, valves, fixtures, water heaters, and other plumbing equipment
  • Test plumbing systems to identify leaks and ensure proper operation
  • Complete work safely, efficiently, and with a focus on quality craftsmanship
  • Maintain accurate inventory and stock levels
  • Work independently while collaborating with team members when needed
