About The Position
Feldkamp Mechanical is seeking an experienced Journeyman Pipefitter to install, maintain, and repair piping systems for commercial and industrial projects. The ideal candidate will have experience with boiler piping, steam, condensate, hydronic, and process piping systems and be committed to quality workmanship and job site safety.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Experience as a Pipefitter in commercial, industrial, or HVAC environments.
- Strong knowledge of steam, condensate, hydronic, and process piping systems.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, climb ladders, and work in confined spaces.
- Strong commitment to safety and quality.
Nice To Haves
- OSHA 10 certification preferred.
- Welding experience is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Install, assemble, and repair piping systems and related equipment.
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Layout, cut, fit, and install piping according to project specifications.
- Inspect, test, and troubleshoot piping systems.
- Perform boiler piping and related mechanical work.
- Follow all safety procedures, including PPE and Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) requirements.
- Work collaboratively with project teams to ensure successful project completion.
