About The Position

WWC Global, an operating firm of Command Holdings, is seeking a Journeyman Operations Research Analyst to serve on a contract supporting the Office of the Undersecretary of War (Personnel and Readiness). This role involves in-depth data analysis related to Total Force readiness, developing client relationships, and collaborating across teams. The analyst will independently seek out, validate, and interpret data from various sources to provide insights to senior leaders. Responsibilities include coordinating with military services, Joint Staff, and OSD components, developing executive communications, attending meetings to capture decisions, managing executive actions, and reviewing sensitive information with discretion. The position is contingent on funding.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field.
  • Current, active, TS/SCI clearance.
  • 3+ years of relevant experience (ex. assessment writing, Strategic Readiness).
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Working knowledge of the Department of War structure, especially the Military Service with a detailed knowledge of the Major Combat Forces.
  • Working knowledge of DoW readiness reporting systems, processes, and data sources.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Outstanding communication skills, influencing abilities, and client focus.
  • Professional proficiency in English is required.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in using all Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to access federal facilities in compliance with Real ID.
  • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
  • Citizenship is required.

Responsibilities

  • Supporting the Global Force Management team by driving in-depth data analysis related to the readiness of the Total Force.
  • Developing deep client relationships, and collaborating across teams.
  • Independently seeking out, validating, understanding, and drawing meaningful insight from disparate data sources to provide timely, relevant insight to senior leaders.
  • Coordinating across the Military Service Deputies, Joint Staff, OSD components, and other stakeholders to align inputs, synchronize efforts, and resolve cross-functional issues.
  • Developing, coordinating and maintaining executive briefings, visualizations, munitions analysis, decision memos, information papers, and other senior leader communications to support engagements and decision-making.
  • Attending executive meetings, working groups, and leadership forums to capture discussions, decisions, action items, and assigned responsibilities.
  • Managing day-to-day executive actions, tracking suspense items, and driving timely completion of priority taskings with limited oversight.
  • Reviewing correspondence, briefing materials, and executive products for quality, accuracy, completeness, and consistency before leadership review.
  • Maintaining awareness of organizational priorities and proactively identifying points of collaboration, conflict, and potential impacts to execution.
  • Exercising sound judgment, discretion, and professionalism while handling sensitive and pre-decisional information in a fast-paced executive environment.
