About The Position

Pantheon Data is seeking a motivated Journeyman Marine Mechanical Engineer (Auxiliary) for vessel sustainment regarding equipment overhauls. This will include evaluation of current shipboard auxiliary systems and developing designs, including equipment selections for auxiliary system replacements. This role will focus on auxiliary systems such as hydraulics, piping, HVAC, pumps, valves, and other critical machinery components. In this position, you'll contribute to system documentation, ship specifications, and perform design calculations and configuration analyses to support engineering solutions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Able to perform design calculations and studies.
  • Conduct analysis and design of piping, auxiliary systems, and configuration.
  • Familiarity with AutoCAD
  • Ability to work effectively remotely in cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and produce quality work.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite software including Outlook, Word, Excel, SharePoint, and PowerPoint.
  • U.S. Citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support and documentation design, develop, and evaluate the operation of marine vessels, ship machinery, and related equipment, to include, but not limited to: auxiliary systems, hydraulics weight handling equipment, rudders, piping, pumps, valves, and HVAC, and apply applicable design and requirements.
  • Develop system documentation and ship specifications.
