Journeyman HVAC Technician
About The Position
Journeyman HVAC Service Technician at Total Climate Control in Boscawen, NH. This role involves diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing residential and commercial HVAC systems, including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, boilers, and rooftop units. It also includes working on refrigeration equipment such as walk-in coolers and freezers, reach-in coolers, prep stations, and ice makers. The technician will perform preventative maintenance, system inspections, explain repair options to customers, complete service tickets accurately, and deliver a five-star customer experience.
Requirements
- NH Gasfitter Service License.
- EPA 608 Certification.
- 5+ years of residential and commercial HVAC service experience.
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
- Experience with commercial refrigeration equipment.
- Working knowledge of VRF/VRV systems.
- Basic knowledge of chiller systems.
- A valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- A positive attitude and pride in your work.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair residential and commercial HVAC systems.
- Service furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, boilers, rooftop units, and more.
- Work on refrigeration equipment including: Walk-in coolers and freezers, Reach-in coolers, Prep stations, Ice makers.
- Perform preventative maintenance and system inspections.
- Explain repair options to customers with professionalism and honesty.
- Complete service tickets accurately.
- Deliver a five-star customer experience on every call.
