About The Position
Total Oilfield Rentals (TOR) is seeking a Journeyman Heavy Equipment Technician for its Blackfalds location. This full-time position involves providing rental and transportation of drilling, completion, and production equipment to the oil and natural gas industry. The role reports to the Branch Manager and is responsible for developing and expanding TOR's business. The technician will perform regular preventative maintenance, inspections, and utilize proper tools and techniques for safe job completion, while also maintaining the shop tools and work area.
Requirements
- Journeyman Heavy Equipment Technician Alberta Apprenticeship Board Certification
- Heavy Truck & trailer experience
- CVIP license
- Experience with Cat, John Deere, Komatsu and Hyundai Wheel Loaders
- Experience with 6.7 Litre Cummins Engines, Light Towers, Generators
- Experience working in Mining Operations
- A friendly, outgoing personality and ability to work with individuals, groups and other organizations to fit in with our great working atmosphere
