About The Position

Build the structures that bring our projects to life. As a Structural Welder at Eagle Builders, you'll play a key role in the installation of precast concrete structures across commercial, industrial, and agricultural projects throughout Western Canada. This is hands-on work that requires skill, precision, and a strong commitment to quality and safety. We're looking for someone who takes pride in their craft, works well as part of a crew, and is willing to do what's needed to help the team succeed. Requirements

  • Successful interview candidates will be required to complete a pre-employment assessment
  • Valid Class 5 license, acceptable abstract, and reliable transportation
  • Hold CWB and a valid Journeyman welding ticket
  • Valid Standard First Aid, Fall Protection, and Aerial Work Platform
  • Previous structural steel welding experience
  • Ability to weld in any position at various heights
  • Minimum 44 - 50 hours per week, including overtime as required
  • Available to work away from home Monday - Friday, occasional Saturdays
  • Travel throughout Western Canada is a regular part of this position
  • Physically able to perform physically demanding work for extended periods
  • Comfortable working at heights with proper safety equipment
  • Able to work outdoors in all weather conditions
  • Strong English communication skills (verbal and written)

Nice To Haves

  • Precast concrete construction experience
  • Ironworker ticket
  • CWB Welding Supervisor ticket

Responsibilities

  • Perform structural welding on commercial, industrial, and agricultural sites
  • Read and interpret blueprints and welding procedures
  • Operate equipment safely and efficiently
  • Carry out ironwork and site preparation for precast wall panel installation
  • Maintain and care for company welding rig (keep clean, organized, and in good working condition)
  • Work effectively within a 3–5-person crew
  • Assist in a variety of tasks that help the progress of the build
  • Take direction and closely collaborate with foremen and supervisors
