Your journey starts now—protect and innovate with MANTECH! MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Journeyman Field Office Technician to join our team in New Mexico. Be a part of an agile team to provide the U.S Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) OCIO/G-6 with agile, innovative, customer focused, and cost-effective integrated enterprise IT support services in support of the USACE vision of engineering solutions for the Nation’s toughest challenges.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field; or an Associate degree with 2+ years of relevant experience; or 4+ years of relevant experience.
  • Possess 4+ years of experience in IT and/or field/user support roles with progressively responsible experience.
  • Excellent technical knowledge of hardware, software, and network troubleshooting, and experience with IT equipment setup and maintenance.
  • Proficiency in remote support tools and ticketing systems with a willingness to travel extensively for field missions.
  • Ability to maintain an 8140 IAT Level II certification and remain current with industry trends in network engineering and data security.
  • Experience creating, maintaining, and communicating technical documentation for complex information technology systems.
  • Must be a U.S citizen with an active Secret clearance prior to starting this position.

Nice To Haves

  • Relevant certifications such as CompTIA A+ or Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator.
  • Familiarity with the USACE IT environment, regulatory requirements, and primary compliance automation tools.

Responsibilities

  • Providing on-site technical support and assistance by deploying to CASTLE-NET program field offices for IT infrastructure and end-user device wellness checks.
  • Conducting network performance evaluations, checking conference room equipment, and supporting end-user devices to ensure compliance with USACE IT policies.
  • Assisting with IT equipment disposal training and supporting onsite personnel with IT issue ticketing and documentation.
  • Delivering world-class IT services and responsive, dependable customer support to exceed the expectations of USACE IT end-users.
  • Delivering vital solutions and strengthening the IT foundation with secure, innovative, and modernized technological solutions.
  • Working with all stakeholders to ensure complete and functioning systems that meet all mission requirements
