Requirements

High school diploma or GED
Journeyman Licensed Electrician
4 years of experience
Ability to perform moderately complex pulls and installs independently
Strong customer relations skills including the ability to explain and train
Knowledge of proper use of hand tools
Knowledge of wiring and cabling
Analytical and problem-solving ability
Ability to follow prescribed company policies, procedures, and protocols for installation, service and equipment maintenance
Ability to interact politely and professionally with customers and/or coworkers
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, clients, and customers
Ability to effectively plan and organize
Ability to follow all safety policies and company-wide safety requirements; encourage action assuring safe behavior; confront unsafe behavior and conditions proactively and positively
Ability to work more than 8 hours per day and 40 hours per week, as required to meet business needs
Ability to work in an unsupervised environment
Ability to use a computer to communicate, create, and access data
Ability to determine the priorities, goals, and objectives of work assigned

Responsibilities

Perform moderately complex customer technical support activities under general supervision.
Assist with on-site installations, check-out, and emergency repairs.
Diagnose and solve electrical problems and install Spirit Smarten Controllers and other related equipment using mastery of electrician trades skills and knowledge.
Create and assemble components and install them as required.
Perform preventative maintenance.
Document maintenance and repairs as required.
Interact fluently with those in other trades and work areas to complete work assignments.
Provide technical electrical expertise to mechanics, facilities, and other work teams.
Contribute to the department continuous improvement culture.
Comply with all safety policies and procedures.
Maintain a clean and well-organized work area.
Perform other duties as required.
