About The Position

Hays Electrical Services is seeking licensed Journeymen to join its team in Houston, Texas. The company provides electrical contracting services across commercial construction, data centers, hospitality, multifamily, and solar industries, emphasizing collaboration, quality workmanship, safety, and exceptional project delivery. The Journeyman Electrician installs, maintains, and repairs electrical systems in commercial facilities, interprets electrical plans and diagrams, troubleshoots issues, and follows applicable codes and company safety policies.

Requirements

• Valid OSHA 10 Certification.
• Current Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR) Journeyman license.
• Working knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC).
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.

Nice To Haves

• Minimum of 2 years of commercial electrical experience.
• Experience with conduit bending, panel installations, and lighting systems.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in commercial facilities.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
• Perform work in compliance with local, state, and National Electrical Code (NEC) standards.
• Troubleshoot electrical issues and complete repairs as needed.
