About The Position
Journeyman at DEC are required to run a service truck with one apprentice. Journeyman will drive their service truck home at the end of each work day. Journeyman will be required to take paid "on call" one week a month to include one weekend.
Requirements
- Valid driver license
- Valid Texas Journeyman Electrician license
- Commercial and industrial experience
- Tools, Multimeter
- Steel toed boots
- Hard hat
Responsibilities
- Run a service truck with one apprentice
- Drive service truck home at the end of each work day
- Take paid "on call" one week a month to include one weekend
- Troubleshoot industrial motor controls
- Read and understand simple wiring diagrams/ project drawings
- Facilitate timely and code compliant electrical system installations
