About The Position
Design Solutions and Integration (DSI) is hiring a Journeyman Electrician for work in Midland, Texas, in the Bakken Basin oil fields. The role involves installing VFDs and other electrical equipment for oil-field operations. Electricians may configure and wire various brands of AC/DC controllers and VFDs, and use electrical schematics to design, bend, and fill conduit to applicable code specifications. The work is outdoors. DSI describes itself as an employee-owned electrical-integration firm providing automation, electrical, and mechanical services to energy partners. The position offers hourly pay of $35–$42 and an employee-owner benefits package.
Requirements
- Texas Journeyman Electrician license or a license from a reciprocating state.
- Maintain a valid driver’s license.
- Be team-oriented and demonstrate a strong commitment to safety and quality.
- Be self-motivated, assertive, and dependable.
