About The Position

Terabase is seeking an experienced Journeyman Electrician to join our product development team. Reporting to the Manufacturing Operations Manager, this role will collaborate closely with our R&D team to build complex assemblies and support facility maintenance activities. Requirements

  • Valid Journeyman Electrician license (any U.S. state).
  • Strong ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Willingness to learn and grow within the industrial automation field.
  • Positive attitude with excellent communication skills.
  • Willingness to travel nationwide to support project assignments.
  • Extensive hands-on construction experience with a solid understanding of manufacturing processes and concepts.
  • Experience operating standard construction equipment.
  • Strong technical aptitude with the ability to quickly learn and apply new concepts.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills and ability to drive technical decisions.
  • Self-starter comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
  • Ability and willingness to deploy to solar project sites nationwide for field installations and trials.
  • Basic knowledge of control systems is a plus (training provided for the right candidate).

Responsibilities

  • Support the development and maintenance of a fully functional manufacturing facility for Field Operations.
  • Understand facility electrical systems and perform troubleshooting, repairs, and upgrades as needed.
  • Execute factory build processes using hand and power tools, cranes, wiring systems, and schematics.
  • Operate various types of forklifts and follow established safety and operational procedures.
  • Interpret electrical schematics and technical documentation to support builds and installations.
  • Assist in developing and optimizing crew training programs, including training materials and manuals.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, manufacturing, and field teams to support product development and deployment.
