About The Position

Hunt Electric, Inc. is searching for a full-time Journeyman Electrician to join our team within our electrical division. We have minimal work in the ST George area. You will be expected to travel to various work site locations. In the position of Journeyman Electrician, you would be responsible for planning, design, organization, and execution of electrical construction projects with the ability to adapt to changing codes, regulations, and safety requirements.

Requirements

Relevant experience in commercial and residential electrical.
Ability to lift up to 100lbs.
Can read and understand blueprints well.
Can bend up to 1 1/2" conduit.
Be able to work independently.
Demonstrate an aptitude for learning, goal-oriented mindset for continual growth, with a “Can-Do” positive attitude.
Must have an active state Journeyman license.
Must be willing to work out of town 50%-100% of the time.
Ability to pass a background check, drug and functional capacity test.
Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
Have all tools for the trade.

Responsibilities

Install electrical components and equipment.
Effectively and efficiently diagnose and repair electrical issues.
Ability to mentor apprentice electricians on the jobsite.
Actively contributes to a positive team environment.
Demonstrates dependability with regular attendance and compliance to scheduled work hours.
Other duties or locations as assigned by Manager.
