Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in commercial and industrial settings, including wiring, panels, circuits, motors, and equipment.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues using tools and techniques to identify and resolve problems.
- Ensure electrical work complies with local, state, and federal electrical codes, safety standards, and building regulations.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to plan and execute installations and upgrades.
- Upgrade and modify existing electrical systems to improve performance or meet new requirements.
- Follow safety protocols, including lockout/tagout procedures.
- Collaborate with contractors, engineers, and team members to complete projects on time and within budget.
- Conduct inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical systems and equipment.
- Provide on-call support for emergency electrical repairs.
