About The Position

Generator Supercenter, Inc. is hiring a Journeyman Electrician in Roswell, GA. The role works alongside installation and service teams to wire, install, and maintain standby generator systems and related electrical equipment. The electrician helps deliver safe, code-compliant installations and troubleshooting services for residential and light commercial generator systems.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
At least 2 years of residential or commercial electrical experience.
Strong knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC).
Ability to read electrical drawings and blueprints.
Comfort working with tools, conduit benders, and test meters.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work outdoors in various conditions.

Nice To Haves

AC and DC electrical experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Pull wire, bend and install conduit, and wire electrical devices and control panels.
Read and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and blueprints.
Install electrical components for generator systems, including automatic transfer switches (ATS).
Perform load testing, electrical diagnostics, and troubleshooting.
Assist in preparing generator sites, including trenching, piping, and setting mechanical components.
Conduct AC and DC electrical work for power generation systems.
Use electrical measurement and testing equipment proficiently and safely.
Ensure installations meet local and national electrical codes.
Promote a safe and positive work environment.
Perform additional duties as assigned by leadership.
