Journeyman Electrician
About The Position
The Electrical Journeyman – Industrial installs, maintains, and troubleshoots electrical systems on industrial construction projects, with an emphasis on quality, safety, and productivity. The position includes planning and organizing daily work, managing materials, mentoring apprentices, and helping complete projects efficiently. Journeymen may supervise a crew of up to six employees. Experience in water and wastewater treatment facilities is strongly preferred. The role involves work across industrial and commercial projects and travel to job sites within a 50-mile radius. The work takes place in outdoor construction settings with exposure to noise, dust, chemicals, extreme weather, uneven terrain, and other environmental factors. The employee must comply with applicable safety regulations, personal protective equipment requirements, and Loenbro Environmental Health and Safety policies. If driving is required, a valid driver license and proof of insurability are required; drivers are subject to a DMV background records search.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Current Texas State electrical journeyman license.
- At least four years of documented field work or completion of a four-year electrical apprentice program.
- Excellent understanding of the electrical industry.
- Strong commitment to safety, craftsmanship, and teamwork.

Responsibilities
