About The Position

We are looking for a dedicated Journeyman Electrician or a Leadman to join our Electrical division here at Bevara. As a Journeyman Electrician or Leadman, you will focus on our commercial/industrial projects in Southeast Wisconsin.

Requirements

  • 5-10 years' experience as an electrician
  • Currently hold a Wisconsin journeyman or master's license
  • Current electrical license with a deep understanding of local codes and their field applications
  • Prior experience working in commercial/industrial buildings and construction projects
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and make independent decisions.
  • Basic computer skills and proficiency with smartphones (email, texts, work order systems).
  • Ability to climb ladders and lift, push, pull, and move moderately heavy objects
  • Current and valid driver’s license.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous leadership/foreman experience is preferred, not required.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure accuracy and timely submission of all necessary documentation.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to plan and execute electrical installations and upgrades.
  • Upgrade and modify existing electrical systems to improve performance or meet new requirements, such as adding outlets or equipment.
  • Coordinate the ordering of materials, when needed, through designated channels.
  • Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in commercial and industrial settings, including wiring, panels, circuits, motors, and equipment.
  • Serve as the primary contact for vendors, overseeing their check-in/out process and escorting them to their work areas while documenting the work completed.
  • Provide guidance and oversight to apprentices and less experienced technicians
  • Conduct yourself in a professional manner consistent with our values
