About The Position
The Electrician will troubleshoot, install, maintain, and repair electrical equipment, parts, electrical systems, fixtures, circuit breakers and control panels. This position requires extensive knowledge of electrical components as well as electrical safety codes and regulations.
Requirements
- Must be licensed or have active journeyman's card
- Knowledge of job, techniques, skills, equipment, procedures, materials, etc.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
- Follow safety procedures, security protocol, and wear proper PPE.
Nice To Haves
- Knowledge of AS9100 and IS14001.
Responsibilities
- Maintain, calibrate, configure, monitor, test, troubleshoot, install, and repair instrumentation, process controls, data acquisition systems, and electrical systems.
- Investigate, diagnose, correct, and document instrumentation or system malfunctions and provide appropriate reporting.
- Read blueprints or technical diagrams.
- Install and maintain wiring, control, and lighting systems.
- Inspect electrical components, such as transformers and circuit breakers.
- Identify electrical problems using a variety of testing devices.
- Repair or replace wiring, equipment, or fixtures using hand tools and power tools.
- Follow state and local building regulations based on the National Electrical Code
