About The Position

At Keil Electric, we're building a professional trade company with clear standards, strong systems, and pride in workmanship and customer experience. This is not a chaotic shop, and our installers don't "figure it out on site" or chase work--they execute high-quality installs that follow our Sales Electricians' leads. As a Journeyman Electrician Installer based out of Round Rock, TX, you'll work as part of a dedicated 2-person crew to install residential and light commercial electrical systems efficiently and professionally across the greater local area. You focus on installation, craftsmanship, and quality execution.

Requirements

  • Active Texas TDLR Journeyman Electrician License.
  • Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in residential and light commercial electrical work.
  • Proven troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
  • Experience installing a full range of residential and light commercial electrical systems.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
  • Own required hand/power tools and possess reliable transportation (company vehicle provided after a successful 90-day evaluation).
  • Professional, customer-focused demeanor with strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Execute defined scopes of work accurately, safely, and completely.
  • Meet agreed-upon project timelines and billable hour expectations.
  • Maintain high quality, safety, and National Electrical Code (NEC) compliance standards.
  • Communicate clearly with the office, dispatch, and sales team.
  • Represent the Keil Electric brand professionally in customers' homes.
  • Leave every job site clean, fully tested, and customer-ready.
