About The Position

Journeyman Electrician at Vredevoogd Heating & Cooling is responsible for performing electrical installations, maintenance, and repairs in accordance with all local and state codes. This role involves conducting residential service calls, diagnosing and resolving electrical issues, providing upfront pricing, and ensuring customer satisfaction through clear communication. The position also requires promoting membership agreements, accurately documenting service calls, maintaining a stocked service vehicle, and participating in training and department meetings. Requirements

Journeyman Electrician license
Ability to perform electrical installations, maintenance, and repairs in accordance with all local and state codes.
Skill in conducting residential service calls to accurately diagnose and resolve electrical issues.
Ability to provide upfront pricing to customers and obtain approval prior to performing work.
Strong communication skills to clearly explain the scope of work and completed services to customers.
Ability to promote and explain Club Membership Agreements.
Proficiency in accurately documenting all service calls, including task codes, time management, materials used, and job numbers.
Ability to submit all job-related paperwork, receipts, and packing slips daily and accurately.
Skill in maintaining a clean, organized, and fully stocked service vehicle.
Willingness to participate in weekly department meetings and ongoing training sessions.
Ability to maintain tools and equipment, ensuring proper use, care, and safety practices.
Willingness to assist with inventory tracking and periodic truck inspections.
Ability to debrief with Dispatch upon completion of each job.
Ability to obtain purchase orders for material pickups and confirm pricing accuracy.
Professionalism in representing the company, adhering to dress code, safety guidelines, and ethical standards.
