Day to day as a Electrical Journeyman As a new Electrical Journeyman at Cannon Construction, your daily expectations will revolve around delivering quality work while prioritizing safety. You'll start your day by reviewing project blueprints and plans, ensuring a thorough understanding of the tasks at hand. Collaborating with your team, you will install, maintain, and repair electrical systems. You will be responsible for adhering to safety standards on-site, particularly when accessing Military bases. Regular inspections of electrical components will be a crucial part of your routine to ensure compliance with local codes. Additionally, you will document your work accurately, maintaining records for prevailing wage requirements. Your hands-on experience will grow as you tackle various projects, all while fostering a spirit of teamwork and professionalism within the organization.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of electrical experience.
  • Valid Washington State Electrical 01 License, including current continuing education units (CEUs).
  • Ability to operate various tools and software relevant to the electrical trade.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Adaptability and readiness for long hours.
  • Valid Enhanced driver's license.
  • Ability to pass a background check.
  • Ability to pass a drug test.
  • Heavy commercial and industrial experience.
  • Must be willing to travel around the country.
  • Must be able to work independently.

Responsibilities
