Day to day as a Electrical Journeyman As a new Electrical Journeyman at Cannon Construction, your daily expectations will revolve around delivering quality work while prioritizing safety. You'll start your day by reviewing project blueprints and plans, ensuring a thorough understanding of the tasks at hand. Collaborating with your team, you will install, maintain, and repair electrical systems. You will be responsible for adhering to safety standards on-site, particularly when accessing Military bases. Regular inspections of electrical components will be a crucial part of your routine to ensure compliance with local codes. Additionally, you will document your work accurately, maintaining records for prevailing wage requirements. Your hands-on experience will grow as you tackle various projects, all while fostering a spirit of teamwork and professionalism within the organization.

Requirements

Minimum of 3 years of electrical experience.
Valid Washington State Electrical 01 License, including current continuing education units (CEUs).
Ability to operate various tools and software relevant to the electrical trade.
Strong communication skills.
Adaptability and readiness for long hours.
Valid Enhanced driver's license.
Ability to pass a background check.
Ability to pass a drug test.
Heavy commercial and industrial experience.
Must be willing to travel around the country.
Must be able to work independently.

Responsibilities

Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems.
Adhere to safety standards on-site, particularly when accessing Military bases.
Perform regular inspections of electrical components to ensure compliance with local codes.
