About The Position
Larson Cadillac is hiring a Journeyman Flat-Rate Technician to join our growing service team. This is a strong opportunity for experienced technicians who want consistent workflow, a professional shop environment, and the ability to maximize earning potential in a productive dealership setting. Our Cadillac service department is built to support high productivity, with steady repair flow, modern equipment, and a team structure designed to help skilled technicians stay consistently booked and efficient. This role is best suited for technicians who take pride in their work, can work independently in a flat-rate environment, and are motivated by performance-based earnings in a busy, well-supported shop.
Requirements
- ASE certifications are ideal.
- Strong automotive background
- 1 year minimum shop experience
- Strong teamwork skills
- Ability to communicate clearly both verbally and written.
- Willing to submit to a drug screen & background check.
- Must have a clean & valid driver's license.
- Journeyman-level technician experience preferred
- Proven ability to flag hours consistently
- Strong diagnostic and repair ability
- Experience in flat-rate or high-volume shop preferred
- Reliable, production-focused work style
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostics and repair work across mechanical and electrical systems
- Handle drivability, engine, transmission, suspension, and A/C repairs
- Maintain consistent flagged hours in a production environment
- Complete warranty and customer-pay work accurately
- Work efficiently while maintaining repair quality
