Requirements

The ability to fabricate, install, repair, and assemble wood and metal joiner components
The skills to build and install bulkheads, deck structures, furniture, finishes, and outfitting systems
Ability to work safely and effectively in complex shipyard environments
Strong commitment to precision, craftsmanship, and teamwork
Minimum of 1 year experience as a Joiner or related craft experience in shipfitting, carpentry or sheetmetal
Able to pass the Tacker Certification test

Nice To Haves

High School diploma or equivalent
Master Tech Certification

Responsibilities

Fabricate, assemble, install, and repair bulkheads, wood and metal articles, interior finishes, and cabin accessories.
Construct and install wood and metal deck structures, partitions, furniture bases, racks, bins, decorative ceilings, false decks, and other outfitting items.
Follow plans, drawings, and specifications to ensure quality, accuracy, and structural integrity.
Use woodworking equipment, carpentry tools, metal‑working tools, and power tools to complete detailed joiner work.
Support ship construction in diverse shipboard environments and be available to work any shift in a 24/7 manufacturing operation.
