About The Position
Camp Widjiwagan of the YMCA of Middle Tennessee is Now Hiring for a Joe C. Davis Naturalist, Daily Rate. This is a seasonal position from August 3 to November 28, 2026, with a daily pay rate of $95. The minimum age to apply is 18. The schedule is flexible and may include weekdays or weekends. This role is for individuals who love the great outdoors and are passionate about creating unforgettable experiences for others. The Joe C. Davis Naturalist will be the face of guest services, welcoming visitors, leading outdoor activities like archery and ziplining, and ensuring facilities stay in top shape. This role requires living onsite in shared staff housing and working flexible hours.
Requirements
- Minimum Age: 18
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Enthusiastic personality with strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- CPR/First Aid within 30 days of hire
- New Hire Orientation before first shift
