About The Position

The Job Site Solutions Specialist, JSS, is a field-based end-user conversion role responsible for driving demand, adoption, and sell-through with professional users in assigned markets. This role builds credibility with contractors, crews, detailers, shop owners, and trade professionals through hands-on product demonstrations, jobsite and shop engagement, training, and dealer-supported pull-through activity. The JSS will focus on expanding Chervon’s presence in priority Professional Construction, Automotive and Marine Detailing trades by converting targeted end users to FLEX Power Tools and Accessories and SKILSAW solutions. Success in this role requires strong trade knowledge, product confidence, disciplined follow-up, and the ability to turn professional user engagement into brand adoption, distributor/dealer demand, and measurable sales growth. The JSS will partner closely with Sales Leadership, Business Development Managers, Marketing, Product, and authorized dealer/distributor partners to identify high-value end-user opportunities, support application-based selling, and establish Chervon brands as preferred solutions in priority trades and markets.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of relevant experience in field sales, end-user sales, product demonstration, business development, territory support, or professional trade engagement within power tools, construction, automotive, marine, detailing, industrial supply, or a related industry.
  • Demonstrated success achieving sales, conversion, pipeline, product adoption, or field-activity goals in a results-oriented environment.
  • Proven ability to prospect for and develop relationships with professional end users, including contractors, crews, installers, technicians, detailers, shop owners, foremen, purchasing contacts, and other trade decision makers.
  • Experience engaging professional users at jobsites, shops, contractor facilities, distributor locations, trade events, or other field-based environments.
  • Strong consultative selling skills, with the ability to understand user applications, identify pain points, address objections, and recommend the appropriate product or system solution.
  • Ability to safely operate, demonstrate, and explain professional power tools and accessories in real-world applications.
  • Demonstrated ability to convert product demonstrations, trials, and professional-user relationships into qualified opportunities, product adoption, and measurable sales results.
  • Ability to build credibility with professional end users and dealer/distributor partners through product knowledge, field presence, responsiveness, and consistent follow-through.
  • Understanding of how end-user demand translates into purchases through dealer and distributor partners.
  • Strong presentation and training skills, with the ability to effectively engage individuals, crews, distributor sales teams, and larger groups.
  • Self-motivated and comfortable independently planning field activity, managing a geographic market, prioritizing high-value opportunities, and maintaining disciplined follow-up.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple end-user opportunities, demonstrations, product trials, events, and follow-up commitments.
  • Comfortable using CRM and related sales tools to document activity, maintain opportunity pipelines, track next steps, and communicate conversion progress.
  • Ability to collect and communicate actionable field intelligence, including competitive products, pricing, promotions, user objections, application needs, and voice-of-customer feedback.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with Business Development Managers, Sales Leadership, Marketing, Product, dealer/distributor partners, and other cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent verbal, written, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, as well as CRM or related sales software.
  • Valid driver’s license with the ability to meet applicable company driving requirements.
  • Residency within the assigned territory is required.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous power-tool or equipment demonstration experience is strongly preferred.
  • Experience working with or through professional trade distribution is preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, communications, or a related field preferred.
  • Equivalent relevant sales, trade, military, technical, or field experience will be considered.
  • Bilingual Spanish skills are preferred based on market needs.

Responsibilities

  • Achieve or exceed assigned monthly, quarterly, and annual sales, conversion, pipeline, and activity goals.
  • Drive incremental revenue by creating demand with professional end users and accelerating sell-through through dealer and distributor partners.
  • Convert product demonstrations, jobsite engagement, product trials, and trade relationships into measurable sales opportunities and end-user adoption.
  • Maintain an active pipeline of end-user opportunities, dealer-supported leads, product trials, and follow-up activity tied to adoption and sell-through objectives.
  • Identify, prioritize, and develop high-value end-user targets, including contractors, crews, installers, detailers, shop owners, trade influencers, and decision makers with meaningful conversion potential.
  • Build strong relationships with professional users in priority segments by understanding their applications, pain points, current tool platforms, and purchase drivers.
  • Develop a clear understanding of the assigned market, including key trades, competitive activity, product needs, dealer coverage, and opportunities for brand growth.
  • Generate qualified end-user leads and coordinate follow-up with the appropriate dealer, distributor, BDM, or Sales Leadership resource.
  • Conduct hands-on product demonstrations, jobsite visits, shop visits, product trials, and field training to showcase the performance and value of FLEX Power Tools and Accessories and SKILSAW.
  • Diagnose end-user applications and recommend product or system solutions that address real jobsite, shop, or trade-specific needs.
  • Support end-user onboarding after conversion to drive repeat purchase, additional product adoption, and long-term brand loyalty.
  • Train dealer/distributor sales teams when it directly supports end-user conversion, product knowledge, and pull-through activity.
  • Support dealer and distributor activities when they create direct access to priority end users, qualified conversion opportunities, or measurable sell-through.
  • Use counter days, trade events, product demonstrations, and local activations as platforms to prospect, build relationships, demonstrate products, and convert professional end users.
  • Coordinate with dealers, distributors, BDMs, and Sales Leadership to ensure end-user leads are captured, followed up on, and connected to the appropriate purchase path.
  • Support launch execution and promotional activity only where it directly drives end-user trial, adoption, and sell-through.
  • Use CRM tools consistently to manage pipeline, document activity, track opportunities, capture next steps, and support accurate forecasting.
  • Provide timely, actionable field feedback on product performance, competitive activity, pricing dynamics, user objections, application needs, and the effectiveness of marketing initiatives.
  • Represent Chervon at industry events, trade shows, and regional dealer functions to build brand awareness, open new opportunities, and support account acquisition.
  • Build trust with internal and external stakeholders by demonstrating integrity, accountability, professionalism, and strong follow-through.
  • Manage travel, territory coverage, and time effectively to maximize field productivity while working within budget guidelines.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
