About The Position
As an Industrial Construction Specialist, you will be part of a dedicated team based in the Greater Calgary Area and reporting to the Western Specialty Sales Manager. This role involves acting as the main point of contact for the company in the field, providing customer service, product knowledge, and sales expertise to end users. You will visit various end user job sites and tools cribs in your assigned region, assist the sales team at distribution sales events, develop new contacts, and close sales. Building and maintaining relationships with end users and the internal sales team is crucial, as is coordinating and managing top customer purchasing and supporting the distribution network for large user needs. The role also involves developing new business within the assigned region.
Requirements
- College or University graduate
- Experience in sales and/or marketing, with a record of demonstrated achievements
- Willingness to travel
- Ability to work some weekends as needed
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities
- Creativity and strategic thinking skills
- Proficiency with computer software including MS Word and Outlook
- Valid driver’s licence and clean driver’s abstract
