About The Position

Arc Broward is a nonprofit organization dedicated to transforming the lives of people with developmental disabilities and other life challenges. As a Job Readiness Coach, you will be responsible for assisting job seekers with resume development, portfolio development, completing job applications, and interviewing as needed to support their success. Prepare job seekers for on-the-job success and maintain accurate records of all activity. Requires independence, professional judgment, and ability to problem solve.

Requirements

• High School Diploma required.
• 6 months of prior work experience supporting individuals with disabilities.
• Requires local travel in own vehicle to various company sites as necessary to support job seekers during interviews or during new hire orientation training sessions.
• Valid FL driver’s license and successful Level II background check, physical and drug screen.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
